Creative Wick Film School 2017 | Premiere

The 2017 Creative Wick Film School gave a select group of young East Londoners the opportunity to learn how to make a short film. This year’s class was mentored by some of Hackney Wick’s best professional film makers, editors and producers from BT Sport as well as returning members of the 2016 class to make 4 new films.
“Creative Wick FIlm School 2017 Première” On Thursday 25th May the four short films were premiered at BT Sport’s television studios in front of an audience of friends, family and supporters.

1. “Emerging” – short film made by Sonny Vaye, Calvin Gordon and Kelvin Oliveira | Mentor: Kelly Edwards.

2. “A Moment of Realisation” – short film made by Sharmeen Jawad and Baylie Bain | Mentor: Alex Taylor.

3.“Big Kids” – short film made by Mabrur Rahman and Tatjana Illcova | Mentor: Antoine Borca.

4. “New Home”: End of Season – short film made by Tasmia Tahia | Mentor: Massimo Petracca.
